The Lochaber High School Bike Club meets every Wednesday after school. The group is led by a qualified leader and normally heads out to Nevis Range, cycling from the school. The group meets outside the PE block and leaves the school at 4pm. The return time is around 6.30pm.
To take part in this activity, pupils must have their own bike in good working condition, a properly fitted helmet and weather appropriate clothing. Gloves are highly recommended. It is a good idea to bring a drink and a snack.
Pupils who can’t take their bikes to school can meet the group at Nevis Range car park at 4.45pm and ride from there, but this must be arranged in advance.

Active Schools are organising a mountain bike trip to Laggan Wolftrax on September 7th. The trip will leave LHS after school at 3.45pm. We aim to have two hours of riding the tracks at Laggan and will return at approximately 7.45-8pm.
Pupils should have their own bikes which must be in safe working order – working brakes, an oiled chain and pumped up tyres; they should have a properly fitted helmet; gloves are highly recommended. They should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and brink a drink and snack with them
