Lochaber Rural Education Trust (LRET) has organised another successful Rural Skills Careers event in Ben Nevis Auction Mart for all of our S2 pupils. On Friday 16th March, 160 pupils attended the event where they learned about the expertise and skills of:
Mr Beagent, Principal Teacher of Guidance, who coordinated the event, thanked all those who participated and acknowledged all the hard work done by Isabel and Linda Campbell and their team from LRET. Feedback from the pupils has been extremely positive.
This year we have organised Easter School across a number of subjects to help prepare our students for their SQA exams. Please see the timetable below for details.
Those students who we think would really benefit from Easter School will receive a letter inviting them to attend. All the instructions will be included on the letter of invitation which will be sent to your home address before the end of this week.
In addition, Easter School is open to any student who is sitting SQA exams. If a student wishes to attend they must ask the relevant class teachers to put their name on the register for their Easter School class. Commitment to attending Easter School is important as I am sure you will appreciate, because there is a cost to the school, and we must use our resources wisely. If a student wishes to sign up we ask that they commit to attending and are fully prepared to give their best efforts.
If you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
