Highland Communities Credit Union has set up a school savings scheme, for pupils, in Lochaber High School. The purpose of the School Savings Scheme is to encourage young people to start saving on a regular basis from an early age, while developing their financial knowledge and skills. This is a voluntary scheme with no obligation to join.

Parents and pupils need to fill in a Junior Membership Application form. The school can verify your child’s identity. Each new member is required to pay £1.00 in order to receive their savings book and pay £1.00 to their shares to start their savings.
Credit Union representatives are based in the school library every Friday lunchtime from 1.00 – 1.20 pm.
