First and Second Year pupils who achieved success in this year’s UKMT Junior Maths Challenge were presented with their certificates at assembly during the first week of term. Over 250,000 pupils from across the UK took part in the challenge. Special congratulations go to Alan Hamilton, S2, who had the highest score in the school and Martyn Denny, S1, who had the highest score in his year group.
We are grateful to Lochaber Housing Association for providing the trophy and prize money each year.
In S1 Martyn Denny and Kyle Dignan won silver with bronze awards going to Fergus Berardelli, Cam Clark and Robbie Murray.
In S2, silver awards were won by Alan Hamilton, Scott Lawrie, Daniel Menzies and Erin Nicolson. Bronze winners were Connor Anderson, John Cummings, Gregor Linfield, Amber MacInnes, Orla McDougall, Rebecca MacDougall, Aidan Kane, Beth Robertson, Lachie Shaw and Jodie Standen.
